Will love this country for the culture, spirituality and wonderful views. People seem shy but welcoming so for sure you can make good friends here!

Gate to the Sagarmatha National Park

Pack your backpack and prepare for an adventure. Home to the worlds highest mountains, Nepal is a heaven for trekkers. Small isolated villages, basic food, good views they all make up for this adventure.

Everything starts in Kathmandu

Have a walk among the crowded vibrant streets and feel the vibration of the mega city.

Streets filled with bazaars

Many streets are narrow with holes in the asphalt, many things are not up to standards like sewers or trash management. You will be surprised to find that people are happy nonetheless.

A shabby bicycle with maybe no brakes, something simple to wear
Efficient cable management

What else can we do but dive in and haggle at the numerous shops and live this cultural shock! In Nepal we can observe many TATA vehicles which is a brand banned in Europe and other countries due to safety concerns.

Fly out to the mountain side

Early morning flight through the hilly valley until you reach Lukla.

Would you fly with one of these?

Actually, the sky was clear and there was no wind in that day. The flight went smoothly until the pilot turned left towards a cliff and then right to align for proper landing.

We were really lucky to fly through this good weather. When we came back many flights were cancelled…

Lukla is one of the most dangerous airports in the world. It has a short down pointing runway onto which only the most experienced pilots are allowed to touchdown.

The cuisine you will find in the Himalayas is simple, nutritious and delicious. Be mindful to eat in places where cleanliness is maintained, we were sometimes sold items which were expired.
